Send your calls to Bloomrel
Updated September 16, 2026
Your number stays yours. You just tell your phone where to send the calls you can’t take: after hours, or whenever nobody picks up. Bloomrel answers as your business, takes the details and puts the request in your dashboard for the office to review.
Forward to the Bloomrel number you received at activation. Each business gets its own, so the assistant answers with your name. Have it ready before you dial any of the codes below. The toll-free number on this site, +1 (855) 512-3623, is our demo line: call it to hear the assistant, but don’t forward your business to it.
Pick the way that fits your day
- Manual, every evening. When you close, forward everything to Bloomrel. When you open, turn it off. Two short dials a day. Simplest, and you always know where your calls are going.
- Automatic when you don’t pick up. Your phone rings first. Only calls you miss (because you’re on a job, on another call, or it’s 2 AM) go to Bloomrel. Set it once. This also covers busy daytime overflow.
- By schedule. Only if your business phone system (RingCentral, Google Voice, Grasshopper, a desk PBX) has an after-hours rule. Point that rule at the Bloomrel number. Your provider’s app is the place to do it, not a dial code.
Codes for the big carriers
Dial the code from the business phone itself, then press call, and wait for the tone or message. The examples use 8555123623. Swap in the ten digits of your own Bloomrel number. Carriers change these from time to time. If a code is rejected, use your carrier’s app or call them; the test below tells you the truth either way.
Common forwarding codes (U.S. wireless)
| Carrier | Forward everything | Forward only when you don’t answer | Turn it off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verizon | *72 8555123623 | *71 8555123623 | *73 |
| AT&T | *21*8555123623# | *61*8555123623# | #21# for everything##61# or #004# for conditional |
| T-Mobile | **21*8555123623# | **61*8555123623# | ##21# for everything##61# or ##004# for conditional |
| Landline / cable (Comcast, Spectrum, AT&T home) | *72 then 8555123623 | Often *92 or *71 (varies) | *73 (or *93) |
| RingCentral, Google Voice, Grasshopper | Use the app: Settings → Call handling / After hours → forward to your own Bloomrel number, the one you received at activation. | ||
Test it before you count on it
- Turn forwarding on using one of the options above.
- From a different phone, call your own number. If you chose “only when you don’t answer”, let it ring through.
- You should hear: “Thanks for calling your business. I’m Rono, your AI assistant…” Then say you’re testing, give a name and a callback number, and hang up.
- Open your Bloomrel dashboard. The test call should be there within a minute. Mark it as a test record so it doesn’t count.
If you hear your own voicemail instead, forwarding isn’t on yet. If you hear “Thanks for calling Bloomrel” without your business name, call us: your setup isn’t finished on our side.
Turn it off
Dial the “turn it off” code for your carrier, or switch the rule off in your provider’s app. Calls go back to ringing only your phone. Nothing about your number has changed.
What Bloomrel does with a forwarded call
It answers in English or Spanish, captures the problem, address and callback number, and saves it as a request for your office. If you turned on calendar booking, it can book an open time in your calendar instead. It does not dispatch anyone or quote prices. In an emergency it gives safety instructions first, tells the caller to call 911 if anyone is in danger, and gives your own emergency line if you gave us one.
